Sterile Medical Class IIa device recommended for chronic and critical patients who often present inflamed, fragile, injured skin and particularly susceptible to Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs). Thanks to its honeycomb texture, it guarantees a higher standard action of skin cleansing and protection, reducing significantly the cross contamination. The glove is pre-soaked with a solution made of Aloe barbadensis, Allantoin and Phospholipid EFA. It cleans and hydrate the skin, reducing the inflammation and preventing irritation and lesions. Recommended for every part of the body including eyes and mucous membranes. It can be used on decubitus (I - IV degree), venous and arterial ulcers, tracheotomy, PEG / PEJ, insertion site of central venous catheter. Area of use Patients at risk, such as those affected by: • Ischemic heart disease; • Cerebrovascular disease; • Irradiation therapy; • Gastrointestinal hemorrhage; • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Also at risk are patients: • Who have undergone major surgery; • Those who are in adult or pediatric Intensive Care Units; the HAIs rate in these areas is approximately three times higher than elsewhere in hospitals. Patients are also at risk if they are: • Mechanically ventilated; • Intubated; • With an invasive drainage/catheter; • Connected to monitoring devices. Active ingredients • Aloe barbadensis leaf extract. • Linoleamidopropyl pg-dimonium chloride phosphate (Phospholipid EFA). • Allantoin.
