Product Overview
This External Ventricular Drain (EVD) system is intended for temporary cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) drainage and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring in neurosurgical procedures, hydrocephalus management, intracerebral hematoma/hemorrhage and traumatic brain injury. Available in classic and luxury configurations to suit clinical requirements.

Features & function

• Drainage tubes: Sizes F8, F10, F12, F14, F16. Made of medical-grade silicone; transparent with clear graduation for visual monitoring; high mechanical strength and biocompatible. Available with removable and non-removable connectors.
• Drainage bottle: Graduated scale enables accurate measurement of drainage volume and observation of pressure variations during drainage. Integrated air filter reduces siphoning and helps limit contamination risk.
• Bacterial filter port: Breathable yet impermeable design to minimise bacterial ingress while maintaining equalised pressure inside and outside the drainage system.
• Optional components: External ventricular drain catheter, trocar and adjustable pressure plate for secure positioning and controlled drainage.
