Disinfection chamber KDE is designed for disinfection and disinfestation of clothing, footwear, bedding, etc. The chamber is a welded metal structure. The chamber body consists of a frame sheathed on both sides with sheet steel. The gap between the cladding is filled with thermal insulation material. There are doors in the two opposite walls of the chamber. Through one door, which opens into the loading compartment (dirty area), items are loaded into the chamber, and through the other door, which opens into the unloading room (clean area), items are unloaded from the chamber. Rubber gaskets on the door, when the door is closed with special screw clamps, ensure the tightness of the doorway (only minor leakage of condensed steam is allowed). In the lower part of the casing there is a steam generator consisting of an open bath and tubular electric heaters located at the bottom. The steam generated in the steam generator enters the upper part of the chamber, where the placed items are treated with steam at the required temperature.
