Protective thyroid shields available in two variations (Universal and PinSafe) with options for Velcro or magnetic closures. Designed to provide focused coverage to the thyroid and upper chest area while ensuring comfort, ease of movement and improved hygiene. Meets a minimum requirement of 0.5 mmPb in accordance with IEC 61331-3:2014.

• Verde: Lead-free blend (bismuth / tungsten / antimony) — among the lightest options; preferred by surgeons for extended usage
• Svelte: Lead-substitution composite (antimony, bismuth, tungsten) ~20–30% lighter than many leaded materials — ideal for cath labs and prolonged use

Additionally, ZiFab outer fabrics are engineered for professional use: anti-microbial, stain-proof (including betadine), waterproof, resistant to contaminants, wrinkle-free and easy to clean. Outlast (PCM) temperature-regulation fabric integration is available on request to improve wearer comfort.
