Our values
Many years ago Corian® Design decided to move away from using antimicrobials on its formulation and instead to promote high standards of cleaning and disinfection protocols. This conscious move was based on the risk inherent with the overuse of biocides and disinfectants, potentially leading to antimicrobial resistance.
Regular proper cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched surfaces such as countertops, tables, doorknobs, and handles is among the strongest measures against microbial spread and Health Care Acquired Infections (HAIs), as well as other illnesses that could be lurking on high-touch surfaces.
