Estone combines technologies of screen brightness and proprietary glass coating to reduce the reflectivity from exterior light source and provide an effective contrast rate. Our products provide energy-efficient LED display that is mercury-free, durable and consistent in brightness over time.

Company History

2008:

Founded in 2008 in the US by seasoned IPC veterans.

Established California and Ohio offices with HABEY brand focusing on embedded PC market and Estone brand focusing on rugged tablet and mobile computing.

2009-2010:

Introduced the first fanless Intel Atom computer in the world capable of hardware playback of full HD Blu-ray videos.

Pioneered ultra-small form factor PCs as an alternative to traditional industrial PCs and listed as recommended hardware platform by Intel.

Became a member of Intel Embedded Alliance.

2011-2012:

Introduced a full line of fanless computers and panel PCs with built-in Nvidia GPU for digital signage, video security, and artificial intelligence markets.

Developed medically certified tablet PCs with Intel Atom Z510 processor and RFID.

Received Award of Excellence in market development from Intel Alliance.

2013-2014:

Developed a full featured, rugged tablet PC with Intel processor, barcode scanner, RFID, MS reader, and cellular 3G/4G connectivity.

Recognized by top industry reviewer AnandTech as “the most powerful and efficient passively cooled PC” for our Quad-core i7 fanless computer BIS-6922.

Launched HIO Project, an expandable modular ARM hardware platform with open source Linux OS as building block of Internet of Things (IoT).

Became NXP Connect Partner.

Began development of ARM based embedded PCs and tablet PCs.

2015-2016:

Opened new 36,000 square feet facility (ISO9001 certified) for product design and manufacturing in Shenzhen, China.

Expanded tablet computer product line to include both Intel and ARM processor platforms.

Added a full line of ARM based POE (Power Over Ethernet) enabled panel PCs for AI and IoT.

Received ISO13485 certification for medical device manufacturing.

2017-2018:

Introduced a full line of ARM and Intel-based small form factor pico-ITX boards as building blocks of panel PCs and intelligence gateways for the rapid growing IoT market.

Added new product line of medical tablets, rugged tablets, and panel PCs.

Merged Estone and HABEY’s website to combine marketing efforts, enhance product portfolio, and extend OEM/ODM services.
