ETISENSE SAS
About Us
Etisense is a French company founded in 2018 in Lyon as a spin-off from an academic project. It specializes in the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of innovative physiological monitoring solutions for preclinical research.
Its leading solution, DECRO, is an external telemetry solution designed to accurately record cardiac (ECG), respiratory, and activity index in freely moving, individually housed or group-housed laboratory animals without surgery or physical restraint.
Adaptable to both small mammals (rats, marmosets) and larger animals (dogs, mini-pigs), DECRO provides a non-invasive and efficient alternative to conventional methods. Thanks to its reliability and the high quality of the collected data, this technology is widely used in areas such as safety pharmacology, toxicology, education, and the phenotyping of disease models.
Trusted by key industry professionals, Etisense provides solutions that enhance the quality of in vivo experimental research while promoting animal welfare.
Our values
At Etisense, we place innovation, ethics, and animal welfare at the heart of our mission. By developing high-precision, non-invasive physiological monitoring solutions, we enable researchers to obtain reliable data while minimizing stress on laboratory animals. Our commitment is built on responsible research, combining scientific performance with respect for living beings, in alignment with the 3Rs principles (Replace, Reduce, Refine). This approach was recognized in 2019 when we received the Chantal Autissier Award from AFSTAL.
Convinced that innovation must go hand in hand with transparency and collaboration, we work closely with our partners to design intuitive tools tailored to the needs of biomedical research. As a member of EARA and GIRCOR, Etisense is actively committed to ethical and responsible research, having signed the "Transparency Charter." Driven by passion and dedication, we bring our expertise to the service of scientific excellence, advancing research while respecting animal life.
