Who we are

GPAINNOVA is a technology group born in 2013 in Barcelona, with subsidiaries in this city, Sunrise (Florida, USA), Hong Kong and Shenzhen (Mainland China) and specializing in surface metal finishing machinery, with DLyte and MURUA; medical devices with Respira Device.com Advanced, USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicles) with GPASEABOTS and high performance power electronics, with POWER INNOTECH.

GPAINNOVA has a team of more than 180 professionals on staff and more than 40 engineers, and had a revenue of €26 million in 2022. The company has been selected by Financial Times among the 1,000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies during four year in a row, from 2020 to 2023.

Our goal as a corporation is to develop, produce, and commercialize advanced surfacing machinery, accessories, and media using electropolishing technology. We want to be able to provide outreach to every country, in every sector of the industry. DLyte has succeeded in creating a cost effective, environmentally friendly, and time efficient technology for surface finishing.

OUR MILESTONES

March 2013: GPAINNOVA is established to automate advance metal surface finishing

February 2015: MURUA is launched as the first passive-layer electropolishing desktop machine

February 2016: DLyte and DryLyte technology is born

March 2017: DLyte 10 and 100 became the first pieces of machinery created for dental applications with DryLyte Technology presented at IDS 2017 which yielded great results

June 2017: New headquarter location was established in Barcelona

November 2017: first ever presentation of DLyte for industrial applications at FORMNEXT exhibition

April 2018: A first subsidiary opened up in the USA to expand the American market

September 2018: DLyte receives the TCT Award for Excellence in Additive Manufacturing Post-Processing

October 2018: DLyte machinery is released for titanium and nitinol

November 2018: DLyte1 is launched for dental labs, being able to complete the product needed for smaller laboratories’ needs

December 2018: DLyte granted 1.7 million euros for research and development of DLytePRO project by the EU

May 2019: GPAINNOVA launches GPASEABOTS, a technology brand for exploration and preservation of the aquatic environment

June 2019: Second subsidiary in Hong Kong to expand Asian Market

September 2019: First presentation of DLyte 10,000 modular solution at EMO Hannover

November 2019: First presentation of DLytePRO500 at FORMNEXT, the most advanced surface finishing machine on the market

December 2019: A third subsidiary opens to expand the Chinese industrial market

December 2019: GPASEABOTS is granted the Fuera de Serie Design & Innovation Awards, in the category of Sustainability

March 2020: GPAINNOVA ranks 76th in Europe and 7th in Spain in the Financial Times FT 1,000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies

April 2020: GPAINNOVA launches RESPIRA Device to automate and remote-control resuscitation bag designed to manually assist breathing

November 2020: GPAINNOVA acquires POWER INNOTECH, a start-up focused on high-performance power electronics solutions

January 2021: GPAINNOVA launches HUB DLyte, a new cloud platform to provide advanced solutions to DLyte's customers

March 2021: GPAINNOVA ranks 160th in Europe and 7th in Spain in the Financial Times FT 1,000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies

April 2021: GPAINNOVA launches DLyte Desktop PRO, the first ultra-compact dry electropolishing machine on the market

April 2021: GPAINNOVA moves to its new facilities in Barcelona, spread over an area of 5,800 square meters

May 2021: GPAINNOVA launches DLyte Desktop Dental, the first ultra-compact dry electropolishing machine aimed at small dental labs

June 2021: GPAINNOVA ranks among the 101 Top Manufacturing Startups and Companies in Spain, according to Best Start Up EU.

July 2021: GPAINNOVA sends the first batch of DLyte Desktop Series to the first customers. At its turn, GPASEABOTS presents eBlue, the first automation and hybridization technology for recreational boats.

September 2021: GPAINNOVA launches DLyte PRO500 Automated Cell, to fully automates workpiece handling. This was developed with the support the European Union’s Horizon 2020. On the other hand, the group joins the Energy Efficiency Cluster of Catalonia, the SEPCHO Cluster (specializing in deep tech), and the Catalan Water Partnership. At its turn, Anna N. Schlegel, the World’s Most Influential Woman in Technology in 2020 to Analytics Insight and the Most Admired Businesswoman in 2021 according to CIO Look, joins GPAINNOVA as Chief Strategy Advisor

October 2021: POWER INNOTECH ranks among the 101 Most Innovative Spain Based Electrical Distribution Companies & Startups, according to Futurology Life, and David Cosculluela joins GPAINNOVA as Chief Marketing Officer. On October 4, the latest version of DLyte 10,000 is presented at EMO Milano 2021. That month, DLyte Chemicals is awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification by Bureau Veritas and GPAINNOVA holds the opening cerimony of its new headquarters in Barcelona.

November 2021: GPAINNOVA presents at Formnext DLyte eBlast, a patented electro-blasting system based on projected electropolishing.

December 2021: GPAINNOVA’s CEO and co-founder, Pau Sarsanedas, is selected as one of the three finalists of the Young Entrepreneur Award, promoted by the AIJEC Joves Empresaris de Catalunya (Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia).

February 2022: GPAINNOVA is awarded as the Best Multinational Industrial Technology Group 2021 at the European Enterprise Awards. In addition, DLyte Desktop Series is selected as the Most Innovative Electropolishing Machine 2021.

March 2022: GPAINNOVA ranks 192nd in Europe and 9th in Spain in the Financial Times FT 1,000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies. On the 28th, the company receives the Innova Award at the Empresa de l’Any Awards 2021, organized by El Periódico de Catalunya and Banc Sabadell. At its turn, DLyte eBlast is shorlisted a a finalist in the TCT Post-Processing Awards 2022 and the Innovation Trophy 2022 of the 3D Print Lyon Exhibition 2022. Additonally, GPAINNOVA releases its dry suspension electrolyte, based on a polymer particles and a non-conductive liquid, especially designed to improve the results of conventional dry electropolishing processes.

May 2022: GPAINNOVA is given the Innovation Award at the Surfair Congress 2022.

June 2022: GPAINNOVA wins the TCT Post-Processing Award 2022 with DLyte eBlast. Steros GPA Innovative, SL, is awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

July 2022: GPAINNOVA receives from the Catalan Governement the distinctive label of ‘Catalonia Exponential Leaders’, which recognizes the company as one of the most disruptive Catalan companies. GPAINNOVA launches DLyte 100PRO, a new dry electropolishing machine for industrial applications and suitable for a wide range of metals. GPAMEDICAL is given the ISO 13485:2016 standard seal.

October 2022: GPAINNOVA reaches an agreement with the UK-based aerospace company Open Cosmos, which has recently moves to the group’s offices in Barcelona; both organizations announce that they will contribute to creating a state-of-the-art laboratory for the manufacture of satellites.

February 2023: GPAINNOVA is announced as the Most Innovative Surface Finishing Group 2022 at the European Enterprise Awards.

March 2023: GPAINNOVA ranks 373rd in Europe and 10th in Spain in the Financial Times FT 1,000 Europe's Fastest Growing Companies, being the 2nd Europe’s fastest-growing company in the mechanical engineering sector. On March 14th, the group launches in Cologne (Germany) DLyte Mini, the lightest polishing machine on the market for dentistry.
