The sling is used to lift arms or legs, and supports the limbs to carry out activities such as wound treatment, dressings or when carrying out personal hygiene procedures. It can also be used to carry out early mobilisation. The sling can e.g. be used when fitting therapeutic stockings or for supporting/lifting the leg when applying a ROM Walker Boot or a CPM machine (knee trainer). The sling is intended for single-patient use only, and it must NOT be washed. This disposable model is ideal situations in which a high level of hygiene is required, and where there is an elevated risk of contagion and infection. Dispose of the sling after the patient has been discharged, or immediately after use if it has become wet and/or soiled. The Guldmann Disposable Leg Sling is made of polypropylene material. Lifting capacity up to 205 kg. Supplied in a box of ten. The sling can be used with all Guldmann ceiling hoists and mobile lifters. Using the appropriate sling is essential for efficient transfers to ensure comfort, dignity and safety for the user and the care provider.
