Description

Overview
The Crest Splitting tips provide controlled alveolar ridge expansion by sequentially enlarging the crest while minimizing the risk of bone fracture. They create a space that can be filled with bone grafting materials and allow immediate or delayed implant placement.

Features
  • Smooth, controlled ridge expansion
  • Thin cutting tips CS1 and CS2 for osteotomies up to 8 mm depth
  • Progressive increase in tip thickness across CS3–CS6 for stepwise expansion

Kit components
  • CS1
  • CS2
  • CS3
  • CS4
  • CS5
  • CS6

Indications and clinical use
  • Indication: crest splitting / alveolar ridge expansion to facilitate implant site preparation
  • Function: create and enlarge a controlled space for bone grafting with reduced fracture risk
  • Allows application of bone filling biomaterials into the created space
  • Implant placement: immediate or delayed after healing based on clinical judgement

Legal and manufacturer
Class I medical device - CE. This medical device is not reimbursed by health insurance organizations. Manufacturer: SATELEC. Read the instructions on the labeling before use.

Technical specifications
  • Tips included: CS1, CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5, CS6
  • Depth capability: CS1 and CS2 dedicated to osteotomies up to 8 mm
  • Intended use: controlled ridge expansion for implant site preparation
