Description

QuikRead go iFOBT is an faecal immunochemical test (FIT) for the detection and quantitation of faecal haemoglobin (f-Hb) in stool samples. QuikRead go iFOBT is carried out with point of care Quikread go instrument. Depending on the settings, the instrument gives quantitative or qualitative results in less than 2 minutes with minimal hands-on time. Generally QuikRead go iFOBT is a point of care FIT test with an intuitive testing procedure on the Quikread go instrument. QuikRead go iFOBT detects haemoglobin originating from occult blood in human faeces in cases of excess bleeding from the lower gastrointestinal tract seen e.g. in ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, adenomas and colorectal cancer (CRC). The test can be used in routine physical examinations, for symptomatic patients and in CRC screening. Straightforward testing procedure 5 days sample stability in the sampling tube at 18-25°C allows convenient at-home sampling and flexible return time of the sampling tube to the testing site Handy and hygienic sampling vial regulates the quantity of the stool sample Minimal hands-on time with only few manual steps Accurate results for informed treatment decisions Quantitative results: interpretation facilitation according to nationally recommended cut-off values Results: consideration against each patient’s age, gender, or potential risk factors f-Hb measuring range for quantitative tests: 10-200 µg/g in faeces or 50-1000 ng/ml in test solution Instrument settings: selection allowance for a qualitative result with a cut-off of 15 µg/g (75 ng/ml) Effortless testing with the QuikRead go multianalyte instrument Ready-to-use reagents Fully automated measurement
