Summary
The VenaPure™ anti-thrombosis knee-high stockings (Aircast®) are indicated for pre- and post-operative use, for bedridden patients and for conditions such as venous disorders and varicose veins.

Indications

• Prevention of deep vein thrombosis in medical and surgical patients.

Contraindications

• Dermatitis with open wound or gangrene.
• Severe arteriosclerosis, other ischaemic vascular disease or absence of dorsalis pedis pulse.
• Excessive oedema or severe leg deformity.
• Diabetes with compromised circulation.

Usage recommendation

• We recommend replacing the pair of stockings on average every 3 days.

Measurement instructions

• 1. Measure thigh circumference at the upper thigh. If thigh circumference is less than 91 cm, you may choose stockings with or without a belt. If greater than 91 cm, choose the knee-high.
• 2. Measure calf circumference at the widest point.
• 3. Measure the distance from the floor to the gluteal fold (5 cm below) for some designations or the floor-to-popliteal-crease distance according to chosen height.
