The VenaPure™ Aircast® anti-thrombosis stockings are indicated for pre- and post-operative use, for bedridden patients and for venous disorders such as varicose veins. It is recommended to replace the stockings on average every 3 days.

Indications

• Prevention of deep vein thrombosis in medical and surgical patients.

Contraindications

• Dermatitis with open wounds or gangrene.
• Severe arteriosclerosis, other ischaemic vascular disease or absent dorsalis pedis pulse.
• Excessive edema or extreme leg deformity.
• Diabetes with compromised circulation.

Measurement instructions
1. Measure thigh circumference at the top of the thigh (if < 91 cm, either thigh-high with belt or without can be chosen; if > 91 cm, select the mid-calf length).
2. Measure the calf circumference at its largest point.
3. Measure the distance from the floor to the popliteal crease (or floor to gluteal fold according to instructions). Measure 5 cm above the popliteal crease when specified.
