BIOCAIR® is a mobile pressurised room that converts a standard hospital room into a controlled positive- or negative-pressure area without structural works. It delivers a minimum ISO Class 6 environment and is intended to protect immunocompromised patients or to isolate infectious patients as required.

Overview & configuration
Configured with cleanroom partitions and an automatic door featuring controlled leakage flow, BIOCAIR® creates a protected environment within days. The modular, made-to-measure dimensions adapt to space constraints and room types (patient room, pharmacy, laboratory, office-based surgery). In combination with PLASMAIR® or HEPA decontamination units, BIOCAIR® operates in positive pressure to protect fragile or immunocompromised patients or in negative pressure to isolate infectious patients. A backlit ceiling option is available to improve patient comfort.
