Singe-incision vaginal mesh procedure Indication: Transvaginal reconstructive surgery of symptomatic pelvic organ prolapse (POP) with or without urinary incontinence, restricted to cervical-, uterine-, vault prolapse in complex cases, as secondary surgical treatment or in case of high risk of POP recurrence. Treatment of Pelvic Organ Prolapse BSC Mesh implant is intended for surgical treatment of female pelvic organ prolapse (POP) Treatment of cervical, uterine or vault prolapse Ultralight, monofilament, polypropylene mesh with hexagonal structure Induces the formation of neo-ligaments by establishing symmetrical, bilateral suspension of vaginal vault from sacrospinous ligament Minimally-invasive form of correction of POP Vaginal dissection of just the size of surgeon’s finger with single vaginal incision For the placement of the suspension sutures i-Stitch can be used. It is a reusable instrument with a single-use loading unit. Features Implantation via transvaginal approach Single-level mesh fixation Implant is made of lightweight, wide-pore, biocompatible monofilament mesh material Benefits BSC Mesh can successfully cure with pelvic organ prolapse in more than 90% of patients (in long-term follow-up with >5 years) Low rates of erosion (5 years)
