SensUS Touch is a new ultra-portable ultrasound device that enables quantitative, safe and non-invasive monitoring of all labour stages through simple translabial scanning. The algorithms used by the innovative Amolab Suite software automatically provide accurate quantitative measurements of the most important indicators of foetal progress. The equipment automatically processes simple ultrasound scans (trans-labial), acquired using a convex probe operating at 3.5 MHz, enabling to safely monitor the person in labour from the beginning of labour all the way to delivery. Foetal progress parameters are processed in a fully automated fashion right from the ultrasound images acquired and they are displayed in highly intuitive 3D reconstructions, accompanied by charts summarising indicators of clinical significance. The progress of the foetus in the birth canal can be objectively and reliable evaluated in a few seconds.
