ProgSim is a dynamic simulator that includes an anatomical model of the maternal pubic bones and a foetal head that can be moved so as to simulate various foetal stations (from -2 to +2). The phantom consists of an external plexiglass structure filled with water with a silicone surface for simulating maternal tissues. Due to its characteristics, ProgSim enables the simultaneous acquisition of simulated transperineal ultrasound images and the visual evaluation of the actual position of the head. ProgSim technology enables a complete and highly realistic training experience with an easy-to-use approach.
