Fully electric height-adjustable wooden orthopaedic bed designed for Alzheimer’s patients. DESCRIPTION SOCRATE ALZHEIMER is a bed for the elderly designed for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and is characterised by a bed base with a height of only 28 cm from the floor, which guarantees safety for the patient both when lying in bed and during mobilisation, an ideal model for home care of the elderly and disabled. The minimum height of the bed base allows even short patients to rest their feet firmly on the floor before being helped up by the operator, thus reducing the risk of falls and injuries. The wooden panels make the product particularly suitable for both home environments and nursing homes. The side rails are designed to protect the patient from accidental falls. They are located on both sides and can act as a barrier or be lowered if not in use. The various bed movement features can be activated by both the caregiver and the patient using the controls on the hand control. Trendelenburg and anti-trendelenburg function thanks to two actuators positioned at the ends.
