Calypso is a height adjustable bath chair that enables transporting, transferring in and out of a bathtub and bathing of active to semi-active residents, making a one-to-one assisted bathing process possible. Designed for residents with the mobility levels of Albert, Barbara and Carl, the Calypso is compatible with all height-adjustable baths from Arjo. Designed to support the bathing workflow The height adjustable Calypso bath chair enables a single caregiver to safely and comfortably transfer a resident or patient from the bedside, chair or wheelchair to the bath, shower or toilet, and back again, without any manual lifting. Thus, enabling a more ergonomic working position throughout the care process. Enables bathing in seated or reclined position Calypso features individually foldaway back and hand rests. With the backrest folded away the resident can, subject to mobility level, lean back in the tub for a better immersion. The foldaway back and hand rest facilitates transfer on and off the bath chair. Ease of maneuverability Calypso bath chair features both positioning and transfer handles with easy grip to facilitate maneuverability during placement and transportation of the bath chair.
