Description

Overview
Polaris HP S is a dual-use therapeutic laser combining biostimulation and high-power laser therapy. It integrates two laser modules (808 nm and 980 nm; nominal powers 8 W and 10 W) that operate in continuous, pulse and superpulse modes. The system supports point probes (R and IR), cluster applicator and scanning applicator for broad clinical use in musculoskeletal, neurological and dermatological indications.

Advanced technology
The device is compatible with the optional DILA (Deep Intratissue Laser Adapter), an optical adapter designed to focus energy into deeper tissue layers while reducing surface thermal effects and compensating for attenuation in superficial tissues.

Benefits for the patient
  • Combined effect of two wavelengths provides both biostimulation and localized thermal effect, supporting treatment of acute and chronic pain related to bone and soft tissue disorders.
  • Promotes tissue regeneration by stimulating angiogenesis and fibroblast activity, enhancing synthesis of collagen/proteins/RNA/DNA/ATP, improving tissue oxygenation and facilitating analgesic mechanisms.

Benefits for the therapist
  • Intuitive interface: 7" color touchscreen with built-in encyclopaedia of treatment methodology; manual and program modes; independent configuration for each radiation source.
  • Ergonomic applicator handling with quick-change adapters, pilot beam for accurate targeting and illuminated control knob for parameter adjustments.
  • Portable and service-friendly: compact dimensions, light weight and transport bag option; built-in self-test procedure verifies module status at start-up.

Included functionalities and user interface
  • Encyclopaedia with methodology and predefined treatment programs.
  • Manual and program operation modes with preset program database and capability to create and edit user programs and sequences.
  • Favorites, treatment statistics and buzzer volume control.
  • Automatic calculation of treatment time from dose, power, duty factor and area; automatic laser power test.

Applicators and treatment modes
  • Supported applicators: scanning laser, cluster laser and R/IR point probes.
  • Emission modes: continuous, pulse and superpulse.
  • Power regulation and duty factor control in pulse mode; three irradiation field modes for scanning applicators; dedicated modes for optical fiber applicators (laserpuncture and ENT).
  • Available application adapters: 1 cm², 5 cm² and DILA.
