ND YAG Laser is the better method for removing tattoos. It sends laser beams deep into the skin's layers, and the pigments absorb the energy, rupturing into small pieces which are then removed.

Laser Tattoo Removal uses theory that the specific wave length (1064nm or 532nm) of laser will be absorbed by specific pigment.
