OverviewPL 70 is a low-temperature sterilization system for moist and heat-sensitive medical devices, based on vaporized hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Chamber capacity: up to 84 litres / 2.88 cu ft. Designed for terminal sterilization of moist and heat-sensitive instruments, including surgical instruments in metal, metal alloys, light non-metallic alloys, robotic and micro-surgery systems. Compatible with a wide range of materials including stainless steel, silver, gold, platinum, tungsten, ceramics, plastics and 3D-printed resins.
Key capabilities- Low-temperature vaporized H2O2 sterilization ensuring instrument protection and low energy consumption
- Suitable for instruments with lumens: maximum length up to 2200 mm (86.62") and minimum diameter down to 0.5 mm (0.02")
- Available as single or double manual hinged door; flexible load capacity configurations
- Ergonomic loading/unloading height: 1020 mm (40.17")
- PLC digital microprocessor control with 7" colour touch-screen HMI and integrated thermal printer for cycle data
High-performance work cycles (factory programmed and validated)- Fast — dedicated to non-lumened instruments with and without articulations
- Flex — for flexible endoscopes, including Da Vinci® instruments
- Standard — for mixed loads: flexible, rigid, and semi-rigid lumened and non-lumened instruments
- Intensive — for mixed loads with more challenging dimensions
- Superfast — ultra-fast cycle for reduced loads (available on request)
Features and safety- RFID-identified single-use cartridge with poka-yoke design: prevents reuse, incorrect refilling or use after expiry; provides batch, expiry and sterilant quantity information
- Barcode or RFID recognition option for operator and load identification
- Dedicated humidity check to control humidity and remove excess moisture
- Redundant sensors to monitor chamber pressure and temperature in real time
- External plasma generator system to improve instrument and environmental protection
- Triple safety system to reduce H2O2 emissions to nearly zero (environment care)
- Designed to use a low total H2O2 dose to protect instruments and extend service life
Process monitoring & traceabilityComprehensive assortment of chemical and biological indicators (including rapid-read solutions) and rapid-read incubator with traceability software. Integrated thermal printer and compatibility with digital traceability solutions for automatic recording of cycle and indicator results.
