Description

Product description
BINDER VD series vacuum drying chambers provide controlled, gentle drying for non-flammable solvents through precise temperature regulation and patented expansion-rack technology that optimizes heat transfer. Shelves can be repositioned for flexible sample arrangement and the interior is designed for easy cleaning. Suitable for laboratories and industrial R&D where controlled drying under reduced pressure is required.

Benefits
  • Fast, gentle drying under vacuum to protect heat-sensitive samples
  • Optimum heat transfer via large thermal conducting plates and expansion rack
  • Proven safety concept for safe operation with non-flammable solvents
  • Modular complete-system option available with vacuum pump and pump cabinet

Important characteristics
  • Temperature range: ambient +9 °C to +220 °C
  • Controller with digital display for pressure and temperature
  • Program-controlled drying monitoring with automatic ventilation at end of process
  • Internal data logger; measured values readable in open format via USB
  • One aluminum expansion rack, freely positionable
  • Inert gas connection
  • Universal access port DN 16 for introduction of external measuring devices
  • Shatterproof, spring-mounted safety glass panel
  • Large viewing window with optional interior lighting
