Description

Easy and economical system for histological and cytological staining. GENERAL FEATURES The sets are made of a stainless-steel structure for 3 or 12 dishes. This structure is resistant against acids and solvents. The set includes the metal holder, the dishes (300 ml capacity each) and a plastic slide basket for 25 slides. Made in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) stiffened with glass fibres, the dishes are resistant against solvents, especially those used in the histology laboratory (i.e. xylene and similar.) They resist to temperature between 0°C and +120°C, so they can be used also with immunohistochemistry procedures. Dishes should be sterilized by autoclave and should be used with microwave oven. SLIDE BASKET Made in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) resistant to acids, solvents and high temperatures, for 25 slides. The handle is specially designed to grab better and to allow the complete closure of the dish during the use, avoiding the reagent’s evaporation. General properties of PET PET (polyethilenterephtalate) with glass fibres It is polyester, a thermo plastic resin used for its properties: electrical, chemical resistance, performances to high temperatures, moulding’s quickness. Furthermore, the addition of glass fibres increases the material resistance. It withstands repeated autoclaving, even at 150°C. Technical data Classification of the product The product is intended for professional laboratory use for healthcare professionals. Disposal Observe all state and local environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.
