Manual system for immunohistochemistry and special stains. Technical features The system may contain until 20 slides (25 x 75 mm) and it is composed by two separated units, each for 10 slides, with cover and inclinable to 45°. The two units may be used also like humid chambers and are furnished with a collector for discarded reagents. Each Slide Master has adjustable basis and check bead to maintain slides always in horizontal position. Method of use Modulate the system with the basis and the bead for level working. At the end of this operation, begin with the staining procedures. Each unit may be inclined to 45°: This facilitates the washing passages and allows to the discarded reagents to flow in the inferior collection dish. The stain and the cromogen processing may be controller by a white removable contrast stick. Chemical compatibility Slide Master is NOT compatible with aromatic hydrocarbons, strong acids and alkali, esters, ethers and pure ketones. Furthermore also alcohols, like ethanol and isopropylic alcohols can’t be used for extended periods.
