Description

Engineered for ease of use, InTray COLOREX Yeasts offers accurate results with a selective, specific media that differentiates various Candida species with chromogenic differentiation. The unique resealable device combines sample inoculation, transportation, incubation, and observation all-in-one. You'll detect active infections within 8 -12 hours, and once incubation is compete, you'll be able to culture isolates for susceptibility testing or molecular analysis. Fungal infections are becoming dangerously resistant .. and more deadly. The rise of antifungal resistance is a problem that needs more widespread attention and action – equal in scale to the global mobilization around multidrug-resistant bacteria. Most fungal infections worldwide are caused by a genus of fungi called Candida, particularly the species called Candida albicans. But there are others, including Candida auris. Combine collection, culture, result and microscopic observation in one IVD device. Highly selective prepared media in a device designed for in-vitro specimen transport and incubation. Rapid presumptive-positive diagnosis without re-plating. Intray can be placed directly on microscope stage Fully enclosed cassette with Tyvek® air filtration prevents contamination and exposure, post-collection.
