Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) is formulated for maintenance of mammalian cell physiology and morphology. It is commonly used to rinse cells, as a diluent for cell enumeration, in chromatographic procedures and to wash cells during dissociation. This reference is supplied as a 10X concentrate and contains no calcium or magnesium ions, so it does not inhibit trypsin activity.
