Backed by multiple Level-1 randomized controlled trials, Ranger™ Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) delivers effortless deliverability, efficient drug transfer, and exceptional outcomes. Ranger DCB is built on the Sterling™ 0.014”/0.018” balloon platform and has the lowest tip entry profile among SFA DCBs.

How it works
Ranger DCB uses a next-generation TransPax™ coating (citrate ester + low-dose paclitaxel) designed to enable efficient delivery of paclitaxel into the lesion while protecting the drug during delivery. Ranger's low-profile tapered tip and proprietary loading tool support smooth delivery and help limit drug loss during insertion.

Clinical performance highlights
Ranger DCB has been evaluated in Level-1 randomized controlled trials. In head-to-head evaluation versus a higher-dose comparator, Ranger demonstrated similar primary patency with approximately half the total drug dose at two years and consistently high primary patency (~89% at 1 year) in pivotal trials. Durability results reported low reintervention rates through 5 years in the RANGER II SFA pivotal trial.
