The question of whether the implant is suitable for immediate restoration often presents a challenge for the treating dentist. By default, the torque in Ncm is used when inserting the implant. The bredent PenguinRFA is the ideal solution as a supplement to the ratchet The bredent PenguinRFA is a device for measuring the stability of implants using resonance frequency analysis (RFA). For this purpose, a small, magnetic measuring pin, the MulTipegTM, is screwed into the implant or abutment and put into contactless vibration. The measured value is represented as an “Implant Stability Quotient” (ISQ) value and provides information on the appropriate restoration of the implant. The “driver” is used to screw the MulTipegTM into the implant or abutment. Short magnetic pulses cause the MulTipegTM to vibrate from the tip of the bredent PenguinRFA. The magnetic pulses interact with the magnet inside the measuring pin. A receiver in the bredent PenguinRFA detects the alternating magnetic field of the oscillating magnet and then calculates the resonance frequency and the ISQ value. After a few seconds, this value is shown on the displays on both sides. The ISQ value of 1-99 is a measure of the stability of the implant - the higher the value, the more stable the implant. 

• From a value of 70 ISQ, immediate restoration is possible. 
• For values between 55-70, we recommend an immediate restoration. 
• Below 55 ISQ, the implant should heal covered.

The bredent PenguinRFA measures the ISQ value with an accuracy of /- 1 ISQ unit.
