Achieve routine IFS by cutting edge technology Compared to other FTMS techniques, the solariX and solariX 2xR feature a combination of latest MRMS, ParaCell and Magnetron control technology. This is prerequisite for the highest possible mass spec resolving power available and results in routine access to Isotopic Fine Structure (IFS) information for a broad mass range. Patented ParaCell detector The ParaCell is the enabling technology for solariX XR and 2xR. This detector concept is a departure from traditional MRMS cell strategies and provides uncommon broadband ion stability resulting in resolution orders of magnitude above other detection schemes. 2xR technology realizes scientific visions and increased productivity Bruker’s 2xR solariX instruments uses magnetron control technology and a newly developed, high sensitivity, low noise preamplifier, realizing scientists long standing vision to exploit harmonics detection schemes and thus increasing the experimental speed and instrument productivity. Optional ESI/MALDI dual source solariX series instruments allow for operation of a unique ESI/MALDI dual source. This optional source can either run liquid samples introduced via the electrospray ionization (ESI) source or from MALDI samples.
