The CalproSmart Office is a rapid test for lab and POC application for detection of Calprotectin in fecal samples.








Calprotectin is a biomarker that is used for differential diagnosis and follow up of patients with established chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), such as Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease. Calprotectin levels increase prior to severe disease symptoms and can therefore help treat flares sub-clinically.








The test is based on lateral flow immunoassay principles, while utilising app-based technology on mobile phones (Android and iOS), to give quantitative results. The range for the test is 77-1500 mg/kg.








In order to use the test, an online “clinic” is created, where users and patients are registered, and this is also where patient test result data is stored. The test can be linked to hospital journal systems through API integration.
