Designed for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Carestream Dental’s OMS Imaging Software provides the diagnostic and presentation tools required to streamline clinical workflows. The platform enables fast case review, creation of customized treatment plans and clear chairside patient communication to support treatment acceptance.

Flexible Editing Features
Choose gallery, individual or thumbnail viewing modes. Gallery tools allow manual or automatic leveling and resizing for a consistent display. Images can be dragged and dropped within the gallery, from the filmstrip or between visits. Annotation tools support treatment simulations for teeth and smile visualization.

Powerful Presentation Tool
Assemble photos, X‑rays and treatment recommendations quickly for chairside presentations, helping patients and referring clinicians understand proposed procedures.

Intraoral Records Automation
When paired with the CS 3600 intraoral scanner, the Quadrant Snapshot feature automatically extracts up to five 2D intraoral images from a 3D scan, removing the need for separate intraoral photos and improving patient comfort during records capture.

OMS Report
Integrate photos and X‑rays into treatment reports, referral letters or emails to produce professional documentation for patients and referring doctors.

Optional Add‑On Modules

• OMS Analysis Module – Simplifies cephalometric tracing with guided landmark selection and supports automatic landmark recognition when images are captured with supported Carestream CBCT systems. Includes a comprehensive list of standard and custom analyses.
• OMS Planner Module – Supports frontal (PA) and lateral analyses, orthodontic and orthognathic superimpositions for tracking progress, and surgical treatment simulations that morph frontal profiles. Compare up to four treatment scenarios side by side.
• Prosthetic‑Driven Implant Planning (PDIP) – Streamlines implant planning by merging CS 3600 digital impressions with CBCT images from compatible Carestream systems (CS 8100 3D, CS 9300, CS 9600) and supports export for third‑party guide software.
