This benchtop block chiller/heater incubates sample tubes at 32–104°F (0–40°C) using Isotemp® temperature control to maintain even temperature across samples. An integrated countdown/count-up timer with audible alarm can be programmed for up to nine days and only starts after the set temperature is reached. Use with Dri-Block® aluminum inserts to achieve temperature stability of ±0.2°C. The unit accepts two single-width inserts or one double-width insert. A dark plastic lid protects light-sensitive reagents and helps preserve sample temperature. The unit was rebranded from Techne FBLOCKICE to Cole-Parmer CB-200D in June 2022; features and specifications remain the same.
