Introduction

• Equipment purpose: The device measures end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETCO2) and airway respiration rate (AwRR) using mainstream technology.
• Patient population: Adults, children and infants.
• Applicable locations: Emergency department, ICU, operating room and respiratory department.

Use requirement
The device must be used with a ventilator or anaesthetic machine. It connects to the patient via an airway adapter (applied part) and a breathing tube. The breathing tube (except the airway adapter) is not part of the device. The ventilator or anaesthetic machine must be CE-compliant.
