Short descriptionThe CPMT PICO is a picosecond-domain laser system for clinical and aesthetic dermatology applications, delivering 532 nm and 1064 nm wavelengths with variable spot sizes and high pulse energy.
OverviewThe CPMT PICO uses ultra-short picosecond pulses to fracture pigment and tattoo ink particles with limited thermal diffusion to surrounding tissue. The system supports protocols for pigmentary lesions, tattoo removal and non-ablative skin resurfacing, enabling parameter adjustment according to lesion type and skin phototype.
Clinical applications- Tattoo removal: Removes tattoos of various colors and depths using dual wavelengths.
- Skin rejuvenation: Improves skin texture, fine lines and uneven tone via non-ablative treatments.
- Pigmented lesion removal: Treats age spots, freckles and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
- Acne scar treatment: Reduces appearance of atrophic acne scars.
- Melasma treatment: Provides targeted reduction of melasma-related hyperpigmentation.
- Birthmark removal: Addresses certain congenital pigmented lesions.
- Nevus (mole) removal: Enables precise treatment of selected benign nevi.
- Non-ablative skin resurfacing: Improves texture and tone without epidermal ablation.
- Scar revision: Contributes to reduction of surgical and traumatic scar visibility.
- Hair reduction: Supports long-term hair reduction protocols for various hair types.
Technical specifications- Wavelengths: 532 nm and 1064 nm
- Pulse duration: Picosecond-range pulses
- Pulse energy: High pulse energy suitable for pigmented lesions and tattoo ink
- Spot sizes: Multiple variable spot sizes for customized treatment
- Indications: tattoo removal; skin rejuvenation; pigmented lesion removal; acne scar treatment; melasma treatment; birthmark removal; nevus (mole) removal; non-ablative skin resurfacing; scar revision; hair reduction
Usage and safetyTreatments should be performed by trained clinicians. Pre-treatment skin assessment, appropriate parameter selection and standard pre/post-care protocols are recommended to minimize adverse events. Adjust settings according to lesion characteristics and patient phototype.
