Mechanism of action
The CO₂ laser delivers controlled fractional energy via a full-angle probe inserted into the vaginal canal. The D-Pulse modality targets surface and deeper layers to increase microcirculation, restore mucosal elasticity, and improve hydration and sensitivity of the vulvo-vaginal tissues.

Pulse Shape Design (PSD)
PSD enables selection among multiple impulse modalities (S-Pulse, D-Pulse, H-Pulse, U-Pulse, CW) to control vaporization depth and thermal effect. D-Pulse is the exclusive pulse shape developed for MonaLisa Touch® to balance clinical effectiveness and minimal adverse effects.
