Description

dentaform® Bands that are easily adaptable. Easy to place and adapt perfectly to the shape of the tooth thanks to the soft quality of the bands, ensuring good retention. Pre-formed bands, anatomically shaped, in 36 sizes, enable exact positioning and a close, precise fit in the area of the tooth crown. Stable fit to counteract strong masticatory forces. dentaform® bands that have not been welded are ideal for the Herbst technique. The inner surfaces of the bands have been roughened to ensure safe retention and optimum bonding. After several bands have been tried for size, they can be prepared for further use without any problems.General requirements If necessary, all bands should be cleaned, disinfected and sterilized. This also applies for initial use following delivery. As a general rule, bands are delivered non-sterile. Efficient cleaning and disinfecting is essential for effective sterilization. During use ensure that contaminated bands are collected separately and are not replaced in the tray to avoid contamination of the loaded tray. Clean/sterilize the contaminated bands and place these back on the tray or sterilize the bands. These instructions describe the initial preparation of bands as well as their preparation after they have been tried on a patient, but not fixed. It is not permissible to process (recycle) bands that have been fixed.Surface contamination must be removed from bands immediately after use, at the latest within one hour. Rinse the bands under running water and immerse in a disinfectant solution. Use only a soft brush (nylon brush) or a clean soft cloth for manual removal of contamination.
