Product overview
respons®UDS100 is an advanced analyzer for automated evaluation, interpretation and documentation of urine test strip results. Part of the DiaSys All-in-One urine test strip system, the semi-automated workflow eliminates subjective reading, reduces error rates and ensures consistent clinical results. The analyzer provides two operating modes: Standard mode with automatic incubation time handling, and Fast mode for high throughput up to 120 samples per hour.

Urine testing
The respons®UDS100 offers automated strip detection and an autonomous measurement start that accounts for a 60-second incubation time.

• 1) Dip the test strip into the urine sample for approximately 2 seconds so that all reagent pads are fully wetted, then remove immediately.
• 2) Wipe the strip edge along the rim of the sample container to remove excess urine.
• 3) Remove remaining excess urine by gently tapping the strip on absorbent paper.
• 4) Place the strip into the slot of the strip holder with the reagent pads facing up. The instrument detects the inserted strip and starts the measurement cycle automatically. If autostart is disabled, start measurement using the Start button.
