Overview
The MaxTrax® Walker is a medical walking boot indicated for post-injury and post-operative protection where partial or full weight-bearing is permitted. Typical indications include lower-leg stress fractures, grade 2–3 ankle sprains, stable fractures, foot and ankle injuries, bunionectomy and metatarsal fractures.

Features and benefits

• Available sizes: paediatric (XS) to XL
• Wider footbed to accommodate oedema or bandaging and to improve stability
• Swivelling D‑rings allow crisscross or parallel strap configuration
• Cushioned inner and outer soles for shock absorption at heel strike
• Malleable uprights can be shortened on standard-height walkers for shorter tibia/fibula
• One-piece liner keeps seams away from post-surgical areas; liner is washable
• Optional anterior/posterior and medial/lateral shells for added compression and support
• Low-profile rocker bottom to promote a more physiological gait and reduce plantar pressure
