Overview
Dürr Technik oil-free DC compressors are piston compressors designed for mobile and industrial auxiliary-air applications. They deliver continuous performance in harsh environments and reduce maintenance needs by eliminating oil circulation and oil changes.

Applications
Suitable for: mobile vehicles (buses, service vehicles), automotive equipment, maritime applications, construction machinery and industrial mobile equipment. Common uses include auxiliary air supply, pneumatic actuation, tyre inflation and lift systems.

Railway sector
Widely used for auxiliary air in rail vehicles: door control, sanding systems, wheel flange lubrication, signal horns and pantograph lifting. Oil-free operation is preferred in rolling stock to avoid oil contamination, simplify maintenance and reduce waste-oil disposal.

Deutsche Bahn AG certified product
The D-120 oil-free compressor is certified by Deutsche Bahn AG (Certificate No. 5245-2022-311). Designed for rail vehicles and suitable as a retrofit replacement for models such as the LP115.

Bespoke solutions
Dürr Technik provides tailored compressor solutions with DC voltages from 12 V DC to 110 V DC and flow rates covering approximately 8–172 l/min. All KK series compressor heads are offered in DC versions.

Reported flow rates refer to 50 Hz measurements for single/three-phase variants; 60 Hz typically increases flow by ~18%. Performance curves are available for all series and types (D-030, D-040, D-061, D-075, D-080, D-085, D-100, D-120, D-150, D-160, DG-160, DG-170, etc.).
