Overview
The PB 331 LOW is a long-term care bed with an electrically adjustable 4-sectional lying surface and an extreme low mattress support position (approx. 23 cm). It is intended to improve safe access for patients with coordination or mobility limitations and to enable individual positioning via electric controls. Standard finish: beech wooden elements and silver powder‑coated metal components.

Description
The PB 331 LOW allows the mattress support to be lowered to approx. 23 cm, reducing fall height and facilitating bed access. Side rails feature end caps to minimize pinch points; rails can be lowered and slide together so they do not obstruct entering or exiting the bed. The 4-sectional lying surface is adjusted by two independent motors; the foot section is additionally assisted by two ratchets for fine positioning. Standard lying area: wooden sprung slats with firmness adjuster, surface 90 × 200 cm. Optional: width 80 cm and lengths 180–220 cm. Against surcharge, an easy-to-clean metal mesh lying area is available. All electronic components and actuators are built to current safety standards. Each function is controlled from a splash‑proof handset; individual functions can be locked.
