Overview The Basic Type Ambulance is a purpose‑built patient transport module offering an economical interior layout preferred in regions such as Africa and the Middle East. The design emphasizes extensive left-side cabinet storage and a right-side bench seating three personnel, with additional stretcher storage under the bench.

Interior and Layout The patient cabin includes a full left-side cabinet system manufactured from MDF and a right-side MDF bench for three attendants. The bench base is configured for storage of a dustpan, spare stretcher and ancillary items. Forward of the cabin there are equipment drawers, a command panel cabinet and a medic’s seat. Support plates are installed beneath the wall coverings of both sides of the patient cabinet to secure cabinets and medical devices; sound and thermal insulation is also integrated.

Lighting, Electrical and Systems Roof lighting comprises a long front light bar and a cylindrical rear ceiling light bar. Side warning lamps are mounted on the upper vehicle sides (three on each side). Lightbar and siren controls are accessible from the driver’s seat. The electrical installation complies with European standards and includes an auxiliary battery, a manual control panel, inverter and rectifier. An internal intercom links the patient cabin with the driver area. An extension cable with external 220V input is supplied.

Patient Cabin Features The cabin is fitted with a grab handle and an I.V. holder, dedicated storage for personnel, four long cabinet lamps and two spot lamps for patient-area illumination. Flooring is an antibacterial, non-slip, easy-to-clean material suitable for clinical environments.

Other Reflective markings, stripes and logos can be applied per customer specification.
