Wall Installation Med-Vizion light panels are easily installed with hand tools. When electrical service is provided, a single light panel can be installed on a wall in less than an hour. This allows exam and MRI rooms to receive a visual makeover with little or no downtime or loss of patient throughput. Standard light panels have a depth of only a nominal 25 mm (1 in) and can often be mounted to existing wall surfaces. Special diffraction technology allows illumination from edge-mounted LEDs to be dispersed evenly and naturally, as if the light source were originating from a point behind the panel. Changing the wall mounted light panels transparency is also easy. The specially designed hinged frames allow transparencies to be changed in minutes without tools.
