System description and operating principle
The device uses a pump that generates a constant‑flow pressure wave with a programmed 120‑second cycle (typical split: 40 s compression — programmable — and 80 s decompression/rest). Pressure range programmable from 0 to 80 mmHg on one or two terminals simultaneously. The sequential cycle reproduces a distal‑to‑proximal thrust mechanism similar to walking (foot pump then calf pump) using terminals with separate foot and calf chambers.
Features include D.A.S.C. (Distribution by Communicating Sectors) for uniform chamber filling and compression, alternative under‑foot shoe terminals when calf application is not possible, and calf bands that leave the foot free for surgical use. Option to replace each internal pneumatic bag individually. Medical CE mark.
