Overview
VELAS II is a medical diode laser platform built with original German-made DILAS (Coherent) diode modules, designed for long operational life, stable average power and predictable clinical performance.

Multiple wavelength options
VELAS II provides selectable wavelengths to address superficial to deep tissue needs: 670 nm, 810 nm, 980 nm and 1064 nm.

670 nm
Primarily interacts with superficial tissue layers. Supports cellular activation and photobiomodulation effects that assist wound healing and scar modulation by regulating superficial inflammation and surface-level repair.

810 nm
Well-studied in photobiomodulation; efficiently absorbed by cytochrome-c oxidase in mitochondria, enhancing cellular respiration and ATP production. Supports regeneration of muscle, connective tissue, collagen, bone and other soft tissues by improving cellular energy metabolism and microcirculation.

980 nm
Shows strong absorption by water in tissues, enabling controlled photothermal interaction. Supports reduction of inflammatory processes, pain relief and accelerated wound healing through improved local microcirculation and balanced photothermal/photobiomodulation effects.

1064 nm
Provides deeper tissue penetration to reach dense anatomical structures, supporting metabolic and regenerative processes in muscles, joints and deep connective tissues with reduced superficial absorption across skin types.
