Product overviewThe MoxiePlex Multi-spectral imaging system captures high-resolution whole-slide images of tissue samples stained with multiple fluorescent dyes. Designed for spatial proteomics and translational research workflows, it provides 16-bit output and uses a high-quantum-efficiency CMOS camera covering approximately 400–900 nm to increase reagent compatibility and biomarker detection.
Key features- Multiplex fluorescence imaging with up to 9 channels across an entire tissue section.
- 16-bit image output for high dynamic range and quantitative analysis.
- High-quantum-efficiency camera covering ~400–900 nm to broaden fluorescent reagent compatibility.
- Automated sample recognition, scan-range setting, focus-position determination, and exposure-time calculation to reduce manual setup and improve reproducibility.
- Unmixing technology to separate overlapping fluorescence signals and reduce autofluorescence components.
- Library creation function to generate unmixing libraries from single-stained images, including autofluorescence components for improved accuracy.
- Side-by-side visualization of brightfield and fluorescence images within the software (compatible with H&E and IHC imaging).
- Z-stack capability included for volumetric imaging.
Imaging capabilitiesThe system supports whole-slide fluorescence imaging at microscopy resolutions (20× and 40× modes). Supported output formats include OME-TIFF (16 bit and 8 bit) and NDPI (8 bit). Fluorescence acquisition can run with simultaneous unmixing to streamline acquisition-to-analysis workflows.
Automation & workflow- Automated macro imaging for overview followed by automated sample detection to define scan ranges.
- Automatic exposure time calculation and optimal focus determination (patent pending) enabling fully automated operation or manual control as required.
- Concurrent unmixing processing during scanning to accelerate transition to analysis.
Compatibility and assaysThe MoxiePlex supports a wide range of spatial biology assays and reagent panels from multiple vendors. It is compatible with brightfield modalities (H&E, IHC), providing morphological context alongside multiplex fluorescence data.
