Through a series of air sectors along with our innovative Controlled Release Technology intake and output valves, the AccuMax Quantum VPC Mattress and the AccuMax Quantum VPC Mattress with Airport automatically begin to create a custom pressure redistribution profile immediately after a patient is placed upon the system. The AccuMax Quantum VPC Mattress and AccuMax Quantum VPC Mattress with Airport have the ability to reconfigure and reinflate any time the patient moves or is repositioned. Whenever the pressure gradient changes, the intake and output valves automatically adjust the sectors to again achieve a low pressure balance providing therapy for your patient. The unique Controlled Release Valve System of the mattresses allow for these pressure changes to occur very slowly.
