OverviewThe NeuroExplorer 8.1 software is the latest generation of the NeuroExplorer product line designed for demanding intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). It provides enhanced signal stability, a user-adapted look, new monitoring options such as a workflow scheduler and MER integration, seamless documentation with an extended timeline and enhanced report functions, and numerous user-friendly functions developed for use in the operating theatre.
Key features- Flexible views and quick layout adjustments: add/delete modality windows directly on the measurement screen, drag & drop reorganisation, create up to 6 desktops and different views within a measurement window.
- Intuitive operation: preinstalled measurement scenarios and templates (over 40) for rapid adaptation to various applications.
- Atlas function: visualisation of electrode placement to speed up setup and improve signal quality.
- Basic Mode: simplified interface for beginners that limits available settings.
- Multi-window setup with easy copy-paste: view all settings simultaneously, copy/paste configurations or channels across windows, instantly add channels using electrode schemes.
- High signal quality: active stimulation artefact suppression for clearer D-wave and corticobulbar MEPs; enables display of short-latency, low-amplitude signals.
- Timer functionality: up to two independent timers that can function as alarm or stopwatch; timers may repeat, play sounds, log events or trigger an automatic screenshot.
- Detailed analysis & export: data export in common formats (XLSX, CSV, EDF) for flexible post-processing and integration with other software.
- Spectral EEG: scalp surface EEG support for spectral analysis (CSA/DSA) with 10-20 electrode system and lookback function.
- MER integration: combination of microelectrode recording (MER) and motor evoked potentials (MEP) to provide quantitative parameters and real-time synergistic monitoring during DBS implantations.
- Seamless documentation: extended timeline and report function to capture and document intraoperative events and measurements.
