OverviewHigh-definition camera developed by Inovenso for visualization of electrohydrodynamic processes in Nanospinner electrospinning machines. Designed to observe Taylor cone formation, polymer jets and their stability, droplet behavior in bi- and tri-component systems, core–shell layer boundaries and deposited fibers on substrates.
Observed features benefiting the user- Taylor cone
- Jet number
- Jet stability
- Core–shell layers in bi-component systems
- Deposited fibers on substrate
BenefitsThe camera enables real-time visualization of the electrospinning process, supporting control of experimental parameters prior to sample characterization. This improves process reproducibility, accelerates parameter optimization and increases success when scaling from lab to bulk production.
How it worksThe camera is mounted on either side of the transparent chamber wall according to user preference. It connects to a computer or laptop via USB and is viewed with SplitCam software. The system supports live view, video recording and still image capture.
ApplicationsUsed for research and process optimization to monitor Taylor cone formation, jet behavior and stability, droplet formation in multi-component systems, core/shell boundary visualization and fiber deposition on substrates.
