Product overview
The DermaSwab DNA Collection Kit is a complete, standardised solution for collection and immediate stabilisation of skin microbiome samples. It is designed for laboratory use and decentralised or self‑collection studies, enabling consistent sampling across users and sites. The kit includes a Skin DNA Stabilizer Tube that preserves nucleic acids immediately after sampling to maintain sample integrity for downstream molecular analysis.

Sampling procedure
For collection, moisten the supplied swab with the provided saline solution and swab the target skin area for 30–60 seconds. Transfer the swab into the Skin DNA Stabilizer Tube and close securely; the stabilisation solution immediately preserves microbial DNA, allowing transport and storage without cold‑chain requirements.
